02

What data we collect

We collect two types of data.

2.1. Data you provide directly

  • when you fill out the contact form on the website: company name, phone number, email address, a description of your business and needs, and your website address (if any);
  • when you contact us directly — by phone, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, or Facebook.

2.2. Data collected automatically

  • technical data about your visit to the site (IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, time of visit) — only with your consent to analytics cookies;
  • cookies — see Section 5 for details.
03

Why we use your data

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • to respond to your inquiry and discuss the terms of cooperation (legal basis — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
  • to conclude and perform a service agreement, once cooperation has been established (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
  • to improve the website and analyze its use (legal basis — your consent given via the cookie banner, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR);
  • to comply with legal obligations where required (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that affects your rights.

04

Who we share data with

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with the following categories of recipients — only to the extent necessary for their work:

  • technical infrastructure providers located within the European Economic Area (EEA) (for example, European hosting providers and email services such as Google Workspace or similar);
  • web analytics and marketing services: Google Analytics 4 and Facebook Pixel (Meta Platforms);
  • messaging apps and social networks — when you contact us via WhatsApp, LinkedIn, or Facebook, the privacy policies of those platforms apply.

Note: if contractors outside the EEA are engaged for technical tasks (such as design or interface development), we ensure data protection in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR (for example, by entering into Standard Contractual Clauses — SCCs, and granting access only to anonymized data).

05

Cookies

On your first visit to the site, you are asked to choose which categories of cookies to allow:

  • Necessary — enable the site's basic functionality and cannot be disabled;
  • Functional — remember your settings and preferences;
  • Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site (Google Analytics 4);
  • Marketing — used to show relevant ads and for retargeting (Facebook Pixel).

You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings in the site footer. Analytics and marketing scripts are not run until your explicit consent has been given.

06

How long we keep your data

We retain personal data no longer than necessary for the purposes set out in Section 3:

  • contact form data, if cooperation did not go ahead: 24 months (2 years) from the last interaction;
  • data of clients under a signed agreement: for the term of the agreement and the retention period for accounting and contractual documentation required by Cyprus law after it ends (typically 7 years);
  • analytics cookie data: according to the settings of the service used (typically up to 26 months for Google Analytics).
07

Your rights under the GDPR

As a data subject, you have the right to:

  • obtain confirmation as to whether your data is being processed and request a copy of it (right of access);
  • request correction of inaccurate data (right to rectification);
  • request deletion of your data where there is no longer a lawful basis for retaining it (right to erasure / «the right to be forgotten»);
  • request restriction of processing in certain circumstances;
  • receive your data in a structured format for transfer to another controller (right to data portability);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest, including for marketing purposes;
  • withdraw your consent to processing at any time where processing is based on consent (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal);
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Cyprus, this is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (dataprotection.gov.cy).

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at ilinitweb@gmail.com.

08

Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes the use of a secure connection (HTTPS), restricting data access to authorized staff only, and storing databases on servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA).

09

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, when the law or the services we use change. The current version is always available on this page, with the last-updated date shown at the top of the document.
